Why is it after i wash some of my shirts a few times, the cotton sort of develops these tiny litte round bits of lint or cotton, sort of like tiny little balls.. I notice them mostly around the collar but they a usually pop up around the whole shirt.
Has this anything to do with the washing method or the cotton?
Shirt washing?
It's called pilling. It's not from washing your shirts, it's from drying them. Either hang them to dry or dry your clothing on a lower setting as they're getting too hot.
Reply:I wash, don't dry and never have this kind of problem! It's the heat in the dryer and the clothes rubbing on each other
