If you've lost weight already and the rest of your body slimmed down, except for your tummy, then I'm not sure losing another 20lbs would help, or if it would just send the rest of your body straight to skeletal while you end up still stuck with a tummy. However, losing another 20lbs would put you around an 18.1 BMI (body mass index) which is still healthy and normal for your height and age, so if that's what you want to do it certainly wont hurt.

As for targeting your tummy, this may sound silly but a hoola-hoop can work wonders for that area. Things like crunches, sit ups, etc will tone muscle, but not burn fat, so if you've got a layer of pudge or excess skin you won't see the beautifully sculpted abs underneath. Another excellent way to shed fat around your middle is belly dancing. There are several fast-paced but gentle belly dancing workout videos out there that cost far less than actual classes (and can be done in private until you get the hang of it :-)

If part of your problem is excess skin in the tummy area from when you were heavier (my current personal woe) there are several decent lotions that contain ingredients to help your skin regain it's elasticity and tone, though to a certain degree you'll have to allow some time for nature to take it's course on that one. As long as the skin isn't damaged (ie stretch marks) it should bounce back within a few months to a year.
Reply:Start lifting weights. That will tone you up in no time. Most women are afraid of weights and think of huge body builders, but not the case at all. Just start with some light dumbbells. As you start to tone up your body will slowly convert fat into muscle. Then you will be lean and tone. Make sure you are eating right and getting your heart rate up by alternating weights one day and aerobic work out the next. Crunches are a good way to flatten that tummy as well.
Reply:Try doing crunches for starters.

Pilates and Yoga is really good for toning and firming up muscle. I would try that.

I do Pilates and its a really nice stress reliever and really helps to firm up.

You should keep up with the dieting though, thats the pretty much the only way to get rid of a gut...toning muscle will help too.

Here's some sites that should help with exercising.

Good Luck!!
Reply:crunches, leg lifts, tummy twists, anything that concentrates on the mid-section.

Please don't lose any more weight... You are perfect. Skinny is out.. curvy is in...

You are probably beautiful. Remember that. You are beautiful.....

Just a little bit of tummy crunches, you will be fine.
Reply:My advice is to take a good look at your diet and try to replace fatty, sugary, or salty foods with more healthy alternatives. Also, drink water instead of soda. Excersize is paramount- situps and double leg lifts are good, as is swimming.
